Anveo EDI Connect Fixed Price Projects
In today’s fast-paced digital world, electronic data interchange is an easy way to streamline business processes, reduce manual error, and free up internal capacities.
Anveo is happy to support you in your EDI needs and offers the implementation of the most frequently used business processes at a fixed price. Benefit from our experience in hundreds of successful EDI projects and have your requirements set up by our team of specialists.
This offer covers the set up and implement of mappings for invoice, orders, shipping notification, or order confirmation within a clearly defined framework at a fixed price. Choose between the implementation of an individual package (such as only invoice) or several packages. We also offer a bundle of three or four of the above-listed mappings at a special price. This bundle is only available when all mappings are of the same format and for the same exchange partner. These mappings would need to be of separate types (such as invoice, order, and order confirmation and not three invoices).
Your Benefits
- Benefit from our experience in hundreds of EDI projects
- Project security provides investment security
- Scope of services is clearly defined beforehand
- Included free of charge: Anveo Quality Review (see implementation conditions)
Before project start
Before the project starts, we conduct a free online feasibility check of your Anveo EDI Connect mappings and requirements. This review is used to determine whether we can offer your EDI Connect project at a fixed price.
For the check, we require documentation and/or sample files where the technical requirements of the desired mappings are clearly evident. Compatibility of the processes in Dynamics 365 Business Central / Dynamics NAV is also mandatory.
The decision on whether a fixed price setup is possible is up to Anveo and will be communicated after the feasibility check. The decision whether a fixed price project can be offered lies solely with Anveo. If the requirements for the fixed-price setup are met, an official quote that lists the project scope will be issued by Anveo. If the requirements to be implemented are more complex and deviate greatly from the standard, a setup can be implemented according to the actual time and effort.
Your project
Detailed technical planning
After a successful feasibility check, the detailed planning of the scope of services, mappings, and processes will be handled jointly. A requirements analysis will be created and shared.
Installation in your system
In order not to influence an operational live system, we recommend performing the development in the customer’s test system.
Implementation
Implementation of the mappings and processes will follow, as defined in the requirements analysis.
Test phase
Step-by-step testing of the implemented processes is necessary. Anveo will cover two working tests per mappings, but additional testing by the customer might be needed. The goal here is acceptance by the customer.
Go-Live of the implemented mappings
Once the mappings have been tested and confirmed as correct, the version from the test system is installed on the live system.
Know-how transfer to key user
Finally, defined key users and administrators will receive a brief training ensuring that they are able to work with the solution. This training will include basic functionality as well as administrative tasks that need to be performed on a regular basis to maintain maximum performance.
Implementation conditions
To ensure the successful implementation of Anveo EDI Connect for the selected mappings and processes, certain conditions must be met.
The feasibility review before quotation
Prior to quotation, a free feasibility check takes place, which is conducted exclusively online via Microsoft Teams or via telephone. In order to have an efficient discussion, all Microsoft Dynamics processes relevant to the setup must be known. This know-how can be provided by the customer as well as by the Microsoft partner in charge. Anveo reserves the right to refuse a fixed price implementation if processes and requirements are too complex or deviate too much from the standard. In such cases, implementation is only possible based on the actual time and effort required.
Once the processes and requirements for the EDI implementation are offered as part of a fixed-price project, the following conditions must be met. This is to ensure a smooth implementation:
- Main contact person for the customer and the Dynamics partner.
- System access to Microsoft Dynamics via RDP and VPN, or without VPN via TeamViewer, are to be provided without significant delay.
- Documentation from the exchange partner and/or sample file(s). These must be provided in advance, for the feasibility check.
- Implementation according to the requirements analysis, which is created in the planning phase prior to project start.
- Changing requirements, or any change requests issued during the project, can only be considered at an additional cost.
- Anveo does not make any amendments to the Dynamics system. This is done by the Dynamics partner or by the customer themselves. Anveo supports the required amendments through consulting.
- Communication channels (such as FTP, SFTP, X400 etc.) and IT infrastructure requirements (firewall, Dynamics services installations, file permissions) are not part of the fixed price offer and must be implemented by the customer or partner.
- If third-party services are necessary for data communication, this must be handled exclusively by the customer or partner directly. (Examples: X.400, Pranke, eGate, SHK-Mail, OFTP, etc.) This is not part of the fixed-price project.
- Response time of all involved parties: max. 2 weeks.
- There is no guaranteed time frame for going live due to high dependencies especially in go-live/test phases.
- Active participation by users and partners.
- Acceptance of the project approach specified by Anveo.
- A maximum of 2 working test runs per mapping will be carried out by Anveo.
- An active Anveo EDI Connect license needs to be available at the start of implementation. This license comes at an additional cost to the fixed-price project.
- Please note that Anveo also requires Microsoft Dynamics, which is not covered by our offering. Please contact your Microsoft Dynamics partner for details.
- Quality Review Plan for 1 year included free of charge, if the package is booked within 4 weeks from the date of the official quote.
The following packages can be set up as a fixed price
Example formats include EDIFACT, XML, Text and CSV. The X12 format, as well as VDA, are not possible.
- Invoice (e.g. INVOIC, sales invoices, purchase invoices)
- Order (e.g. ORDERS, sales order, purchase orders)
- Shipment notification (e.g. DESADV, posted sales delivery, posted goods receipt, purchase delivery)
- Order confirmation (ORDRSP, sales order confirmation, purchase order confirmation)
Additional Terms & Conditions
If the above-mentioned conditions are not sufficiently fulfilled by the parties involved, resulting in the project becoming significantly more extensive than planned, Anveo reserves the right to stop the project. Typical examples include: a lack of cooperation regarding system access, Dynamics customizations, or process planning, changing requirements during the project, or non-compliance with the best practices such as go-live without test phases. These are only possible points, and not an exhaustive list.
In the unlikely event that a project is stopped, Anveo will evaluate the project progress up to that point and determine the available remaining time. The percentage will be evaluated by Anveo, and the work can then be continued according to the actual effort remaining. Anveo is released from any obligation of a fixed price implementation. Crediting or reimbursement of the available remaining time is excluded. This will be communicated in writing to all parties involved.
The fixed-price packages are considered prepaid packages, where payment needs to be received before the start of implementation.
We do not leave you on your own: should you require further support or training after handover and completion, these can be booked as additional services.
