Anveo on DIRECTIONS EMEA 2012 in Rome

Hamburg  – Our exhibition year started this year in April with the DIRECTIONS EMEA 2012 in Rome, Italy. The focus of this conference was on Dynamics NAV 2013, to be released in the middle of this year. Interested parties listened to lectures on various  tech and business topics  and explored the new version of Dynamics NAV in “hands-on labs” themselves. According to Microsoft, this upcoming release is the richest release ever, implementing many new features. One of the new features is expanding access to the ERP system.

The interest in web-based solutions in many business fields is growing steadily. Keywords like cloud – which is characterized by the integration of various media, the distribution of computing power or mobile access – are becoming increasingly important. The  entertainment industry is changing the way we use computers and influencing business applications. Cloud technology is an important focus in Dynamics NAV 2013, driving full access to the ERP system with the integration of the new web client and Windows Azure.

The new version of Dynamics NAV provides access to the ERP system using a web interface provided by the integrated new web client. Microsoft focuses its web client on the full access users of the ERP-system and not sales representatives or customers, who shall access their own data. With Microsoft’s launch of the new web client, Anveo web clients remain an indispensable add-on for Dynamics NAV, especially for smaller solutions such as portals for customers and fieldworkers.

In addition to the events focusing on the new Dynamics NAV 2013, silver and gold status sponsors held presentations about their companies and their verticals for Dynamics NAV. Nils Peemoeller and Nicole Brinkmann presented the features of our web client and the client for mobile devices for Anveo to a sizeable audience interested Anveo’ innovative products.. Their presentation covered the needs of many customers of several Dynamics NAV Partners: extended access to their ERP system. EMAE visitors were able to learn more first hand at our booth and it was great to see such a big interest in Anveo!

All in all the conference was a huge success for us! We got an in-depth look at the new version of Dynamics NAV and gained many new partners, who plan to provide their verticals taking advantage of our products.
